Forgot how much Manhattan acts, looks, and feels like Tokyo; except it’s a lot smaller, more stinky, and no one’s wearing a kimono.
Off to New York in a few hours to start on a new client engagement. I’ll be traveling back and forth between NY and DC until December.
First Bear Stearns, then Lehman and Merrill, now AIG has lost over 1/2 its value in the last 20 minutes. Morbid curiosity keeps me watching.
Spent the w/e in Baltimore with wife & baby. Was perfect aside from the 12am fire drill at the Renaissance Hotel that forced us to evacuate.
Bought my first bag of Mate today - Argentina’s national drink. Hoping it will reduce my addiction to Red Bull.

I counted 7 squirrels on my walk into work this morning here in Washington, DC. Only 3 less than the amount of politicians that I passed.
Enjoying a Red Bull with walnuts. My third favorite combo after chocolate chip cookies + milk, and peanut butter & jelly + anything.
Trying to get my four month-old to go to bed for the night. Why does it seem that she wins more often than not?
These hurricanes here on the East Coast are reminding me of growing up with earthquakes out West - Mother’s Nature’s way of *getting down.*
Just returned from watching the Dodgers get swept by the Nats at Nationals Park. NOT a good first baseball experience for my four month-old.
